Subtitling is far more than just translation. In order to be effective, subtitles should be limited to 35-40 characters per line and a maximum of 2 lines.

To ensure your subtitles match the suggested guidelines, our translators will work to a brief specifying the format for the subtitles, including length, complexity and any on-screen visual links.

Once the subtitles have been added to your video or DVD, we recommend a final proofreading to verify that all the text has transferred correctly, without corruption.
